Teen Arrested For 'Trae Day' Shootings

A teenager who was wanted for his role in a violent shooting last month during Trae Day has turned himself in to authorities.

Albert Walker Mondane surrendered to Houston police officers on Friday (August 14) according to police representatives.

Mondane, 19, also goes by the name “A-Walk.”

Beanie Sigel Busted For Weed

Philly rapper Beanie Sigel was arrested in a New Jersey suburb on Sunday (August 15), after police stopped a car he was traveling in and found a stash of marijuana.

Sigel, born Dwight Grant, was stopped in Wrightstown, New Jersey shortly after 12:30 AM, according to New Jersey Stat police.

The rapper was supposed to perform at a private event at Kelly’s Bar, which is owned by local councilman Scott Timberman.

An emcee from Raleigh, North Carolina has found himself in a federal lawsuit over a 2007 dedication song to the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes are suing Tyrone Banks for trademark violations over the track “Carolina Hurricanes,” which the rapper promoted as “the official Carolina Hurricanes song.”

A New Orleans jury has found Corey “C-Murder” Miller guilty of second-degree murder, in relation to January 12, 2002 death of 16-year-old Steve Thomas.
